Who we are
The Avenue Brasserie, 66-68 Eglantine Avenue, Belfast BT9 6DY, runs this website and is responsible for the personal information described here. You can reach us at info@theavenuebrasserie.com or on +44 28 9038 8090.
What we collect
When you send a contact or group enquiry we keep what you put in the form: your name, email address, telephone number if you give it, the type of enquiry, your message and, for group enquiries, the date, number of guests and occasion. We also record the page you sent it from. When you join our mailing list we keep your email address.
The forms are protected by Cloudflare Turnstile, which checks that a request comes from a person rather than an automated script. Turnstile processes technical information about your browser to do this.
Why we use it
We use enquiry details to answer you and to keep a record of the conversation. We rely on our legitimate interest in responding to enquiries about the restaurant. We use mailing list addresses only to send you the news you signed up for, and you can unsubscribe at any time.
Who we share it with
Enquiries are stored on our website’s hosting platform, Railway, and notification emails are sent through Postmark. Table bookings are made through ResDiary, whose own privacy policy applies to the booking itself. We do not sell personal information.
How long we keep it
Enquiries are kept for up to two years so we can refer back to a conversation. Mailing list addresses are kept until you unsubscribe.
Your rights
You can ask for a copy of the information we hold about you, ask us to correct or delete it, or object to how we use it. Email info@theavenuebrasserie.com and we will respond within one month. You can also complain to the Information Commissioner’s Office at ico.org.uk.
